Lawry's The Prime Rib hosted their first wine dinner for 2009. Executive Chef Walter Eckstein designed the perfect five course meal to complement these wonderful wines. Two of the courses featured on the left were Seared Ahi Tuna Salad with a wasabi vinaigrette and crispy wontons and Individual Beef Wellingtons with Sauce Perigord.Silverado has been quietly producing world-class wines from their state-of-the-art winery for over 20 years. Their handcrafted wines are created in small lots with extreme care. They express richness, elegance and age-worthiness.
Winemaker John Emmerich mingled with the guests and went to each table to speak about the three featured Silverado wines. Selected were the 2008 Miller Ranch, Single Vineyard, Sauvignon Blanc; the 2007 Napa Valley Chardonnay; and the famous 2004 Napa Valley Fantasia, which is only served at Tip Top Club 33 at Disneyland.
