Lawry's Annual Oktoberfest October 7, 2009

Lawry's The Prime Rib has hosted another successful Oktoberfest at the restaurant. Native Bavarian and executive Chef Walter Eckstein feels at home, proudly creating a buffet of traditional fare matched with eight of the best, classic beers presented by
German beer specialist Larry James.
The Oak Room was festively decorated with balloons, banners, and special linens.
The buffet menu consisted of assorted traditional salads such as German potato, refreshing marinated cucumber salad and savory bavarian cabbage. The buffet featured assorted cold cuts sliced to order, smoked trout and matjes herring. Our favorite sausages were the bratwurst, weisswurst, and bockwurst that were served with warm sauerkraut and assorted mustards. The Lawry's carvers offered roasted veal shank, roasted pork shank, and stuffed breast of veal. The guests finished their evening with plum cake and apple strudel.
